Year 5L 2021 - 2022
Welcome to our class homepage.
Our class teacher is Mr Biggs and our teaching assistant is Miss Boyle. Mrs Faulkner will also be completing work between both Year 5 classes along with Mrs Purchase.
Things to know:
Monday: Homework will now be done in Year 5 & 6 via SATs Companion online. Homework is set on a Monday and is due to be completed by Friday. The homework will be two maths and two English focused sets of questions. Children should be reading each day, as a minimum in Year 5 we ask that they read 3 times a week.
Monday: Our timetabled P.E lesson is a Monday afternoon PE kits must be kept in school at all times. Due to the current situation with Covid -19 we will be sending home PE kits to be washed every two weeks instead of at the end of the half term.
Friday: Homework to be returned, spelling and times tables test.
Reading books will be changed when a book has been read, diary signed and reading task completed.
Our attendance target for this year is 97%. It is important that your child attends school regularly and punctually so that they can achieve their full potential. Children need to be in school and on time everyday arriving between 8:40am and 8:50am ready for lessons to start we complete daily morning challenges at this time to recap previous learning.
We will also be using the Seesaw app to share our child's learning from class with you.
