Prayer and Liturgy

Prayer and liturgy are at the heart of daily life at St Laurence's and are central to how we live out our Catholic mission. Guided by our Mission Statement and rooted firmly in Gospel values such as love, respect, service and forgiveness; we provide regular opportunities for our whole school community to come together to pray, reflect and worship. Through acts of collective worship, celebration of the liturgical year and moments of quiet prayer, our children are encouraged to deepen their relationship with God and grow spiritually as well as academically.

In line with the guidance of the Archdiocese of Liverpool, our prayer and liturgical life is inclusive, meaningful and age‑appropriate, helping pupils to understand their faith and put it into action. These shared experiences strengthen our Catholic identity, nurture a sense of belonging and help build a caring and compassionate school community, united in faith and committed to serving others.
